The Volunteer Years 1983-1984 Keith
I arrived in Lancaster, Kentucky on February 3, 1983. I left snowbanks in Minnesota and figured Kentucky was in the south so the snow would be all gone. The next day one inch of snow closed the schools. My plan was to spend a couple of months with an organization called the Christian Appalachian Project and then move on. Well here it is twenty five years later and I am still in the hills of Appalachia. It must be all the wonderful people I met and enjoy working with.
